thank you to diane for grabbing a bunch of postcards from galveston.  she brought a lot back from her trip this past week... so, i am sending this card to linjing jiand, from china... she likes birds, so i thought this would be a card she might enjoy and a bird she doesn't see often...

received postcard twelve - ukraine

ok... so... i got this really cool card from ukraine... on the back, nastty (the girl's name), apologized for not sending a sports related card... but the only sports i mention on my profile are volleyball and racquetball... so... no worries.

this card is BEAUTIFUL.  i don't really know what it is about this scene, but it is very appealing to the eye... thanks for the beautiful card, nastty!

FINALLY!

one of the postcards i sent off FINALLY made it to russia... it took 99 days!


at least svetlana finally got her card... i hope she liked it... she didn't leave me a message when she registered the card... :/

late postcards and a facelift...

ok... i sent out 7 (thats right... SEVEN!) postcards yesterday, some of which were postcrossing related... and others that were not... soooo... i am so sorry to those of you who have been waiting!  i am a horrible postcrosser!  :/  BUT... they are on their ways!

so... i have decided that i will scan all of my cards thus far and replace all of their images... a lot of them deserve better quality... sooooo... in the next couple of weeks i will have all new images up... (once i can convince my lazy ass to do so!)

received postcard eleven - belarus

well... i did not expect to receive a naked woman.  but i did.  and she took 90 days to get to me.  she wanted me.  bad.

so... jane loves art... so she sent me this card.  being that i am in texas this summer, all of my mail has to go to school first, then makes it 550 mile journey to me... soooo... all mail will take a few days longer to receive... BUT i still get my postcrossing cards! :D

received postcard ten - Россия

i think i have decided that russia is one of my favorite countries...

for a few reasons:
- vodka
- cold weather
- history of dictators
- russian music
- churches

this list may be short, but these are some things i love dearly... they are all at the top of my list of favorites... :D


this card is from the capital of russia, moscow and features the cathedral of christ the saviour.  i think it's a gorgeous church... thanks for the great card, alexandra!
