today i received a lovely postcard from a small town in northwest italy: cigliano. tanti saluti! (many greetings!)

samantha has lived in cigliano since 1999 and has 2 daughters.  she likes to travel, read, bike, and collect stamps... AND the card has two churches on it!

sent postcard nine - georgia (usa)

this card went to rosha in georgia... i sent her another roswell card because what american doesn't love roswell?!    i told her that the weather in new mexico is crazy... it's 85 today... and two days ago it was snowing!

she has returned to school after a few years, and it pursuing a degree in accounting... i wish her the best of luck in her degree!

sent postcard eight - finland

this one was fun... mainly because she wanted to know about me!  :D  i can talk about me for forever...  sooooo... i kept it to a simple message: i told her i was in college and hope to be a famous composer or conductor one day...

it was also fun because she does postcrossing with her sons, so i got to say hello to them too... they are 9 and 11... and she is a a single mom... what a fun thing to do with your kids!

she likes flowers, so i sent her this one of flowers that are only found in the western hemisphere... the prickly pear cactus and its flowers... i hope she enjoys it!

an unexpected postcard! :D

soooooo... i love my sister!  and not only because she sent me this super cute card!

my sister recently went to seattle for her birthday... and she sent me this postcard while she was there.  it's super cute!  she says it's her favorite seattle postcard... and i love it too!  it was so nice to get it, and then realize it wasn't a postcrossing card, but one from TARA!!!  thanks!  love!

i just received another postcard!  (well, i actually got it yesterday and then went out of town... so i'm just now posting it)

it is a wonderful MUSIC postcard sent from gozde, in turkey,  she went on vacation to london last year and got this postcard and decided to send it to me because of the marching band!  i'm so happy i got a music card!
