alena (what a pretty name!) is the recipient of my next postcard... this is a special card because my sister gave it to me.  alena is about my age and goes to the belarusian academy of the arts... i hope she appreciates the simply beauty of the image... i am fascinated by catholicism (and other religions) and i think this card is just beautiful.  thank you, tara, for the card!

today i got my first postcard!  YAY!!! it is from a lady in connecticut names mary.  she let me know that they have  had a warm winter with hardly any snow... it has the cast of VH1's "I love The 80's"... and includes two of my favorites, hal sparks (queer as folk), and my girl, niecy nash (reno 911!)...

miranda has a strange phobia... she had no preference for what was on her postcard, she just wanted to let everyone know it couldn't have butterflies! i can understand, i hate girl hair (long hair that has fallen out, whether from males or females... it's all the same.  and disgusting!)  so... i sent her a non-flying animal, a roadrunner... and even better, they eat butterflies... so hopefully she can appreciate her card.  :D

jan and i have the same name... and i think that's fun.  :D  his favorite singers are celine deon and susan boyle... and i think that's fun.  :D  they may not be my favorites, but hey... the man likes music.  i told him that i am a singer and composer... and i drew a dot on the map where portales is... he seems like an alright guy.
